My name is James Darnell and I have enjoyed turning wood since June, 2002. I am a member of the American Association of Woodturners and the Louisville Area Woodturners. There is nothing quite like the experience of turning wood into a unique piece of art, be it a pen, a bowl or a vase. One of my joys of turning wood is the actual finishing process where the wax and sealer is applied.  This always seems to bring out characteristics unique to each piece.
